EWTEC 2015 – European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference – September 2015

For its first edition in France in 22 years, the city of Nantes was chosen four years ago by the international EWTEC committee… largely due to the quality of the convention centre, perfectly suited to this event in terms of size and quality of service.
The 600 delegates from 33 countries particularly appreciated being in the heart of the city of Nantes and being able to visit it during breaks between the 300 scientific conferences. Taking advantage of the space in the Great Hall at La Cité Nantes Events Center, the team at Ecole Centrale Nantes mounted an exhibition on Marine Renewable Energies open to the general public throughout the duration of the Conference. It was a resounding success…
According to the organiser of the next edition,  EWTEC 2017 will take place in Cork, Ireland. It will be very hard to live up to the Nantes edition!
